Truth an Ad Magazine 1985

Dick Smith published the Truth an Ad magazine in 1985 to inform young people how they were being manipulated into ruining their health by smoking.

Included were two competitions with a prize cache of $38,000. The first, a ‘Truth an Ad’ where a cigarette ad was to be created, based on an existing ad or of their own creation – the main criteria was to tell the truth. The second competition was a simple Q&A quiz.
