Truth an Ad Magazine, 1985

Dick Smith published Truth an Ad magazine in 1985 to inform young people how they were being manipulated into ruining their health, by smoking cigarettes.

Included were two competitions with a total prize cache of $38,000:

  • Create a cigarette advertisement based on an existing ad, or create one of their own. The main criteria was to tell the truth.
  • A simple Q & A quiz.
